1 cup of water to 2 cups of biscuit mix makes 10-12 biscuits.
This mix can be made in advance and stored in a cool place for several weeks and used as needed.
Mix ingredients well (with an electric mixer, if possible) and store in a covered container. This amount is just right for a 2 lb. coffee can.
When ready to use, add desired amount of water to the mixture at a ratio of 1 cup water per 2 cups of mix.
If no oven is available, bake in a lightly greased heavy iron skillet with a lid over low heat on open coals or camping stove. Turn biscuits once.
