In 1972 a group of railbuffs from Phoenix and Flagstaff made a trip to southwestern Colorado. The route took us through Dolores, Rico, Lizard Head Pass, Ophir, Ames, Telluride, Placerville, Dallas Divide, Ridgeway, and Ouray.
